From the nine main types of history , the one I enjoy the most is military history. I like learning how other lands were formed from war, like the Mexican-American war. We fought against the Mexicans in the south and in the end, we gained Texas. I also like learning about how treaties were signed to end wars. Peace treaties and treaties for land are some of most interesting types of treaties. I think Major Generals in wars is the most interesting to learn. I am actually related to Ulysses S. Topics of History that I Like the Most

You wrote a convincing, detailed explanation of your favorite aspect of historical study. You linked to a useful website for studying military history and chose an appropriate image. Your being related to General/President Grant is interesting. Have you studied much about him? It might be interesting to examine his policies toward Texas when we study the Civil War and Reconstruction.
