What we think when we hear "Texas History"

Two days ago, we went outside and wrote down on a piece of paper what we thought when we heard, "Texas History". Yesterday, we cut up what we wrote and placed them in chronological order.
(Before We Cut)

(After We Cut)

All of us put the Alamo first and we asked, "Why the Alamo? Why is the Alamo so famous even though we lost?"

I think it was the most famous because of the famous saying "Remember the Alamo"! and because of major loss from the Alamo. It is also one of the last building still standing from the Texas Revolution.
